Is the My Bloody Valentine '81 BD missing scenes?

Does anyone have the BD release of the original My Bloody Valentine? I was all set to upgrade today and was reading the reviews on Amazon. Someone stated that the water pipe impalement scene is missing. If so I'll just keep my dvd.
I don't see why that one scene would be missing unless it looked worse than the other added scenes after the hd-transfer.

The Lionsgate DVD was made from the same HD transfer that Lionsgate used for the Blu-ray. IIRC, the water pipe impalement scene was on the BD; however, I was also working on stuff around the house at the same time.

The "added" footage still looks grainy and washed out considering the source material; but overall, especially for under $10, was worth it especially as I never owned the DVD previously.

No, the Blu-ray is identical to the DVD (both in the Theatrical and Directors Cut). The BD was prepared at the same time as the DVD.
