Great episode. I got a kick out of Cam at the end with the girl. I liked the pep talk between Phil and Halie about why she had to learn how to use the remote; the rivalry between Phil and Claire is fantastic. Phil automatically saying Luke was the dumbest of the kids was great.

The helicopter accident, lol.

That line killed me. It was so subtle and quick it almost didn't register, but when it did it was a good laugh.

I loved when Jay came in the house and asked how the two women knew each other.
"She's Manny's date."
And he was just like "Okay." and walked away.

I love comedies with jokes that take a little while to sink in. Two great examples.

Loved how the dvd movie was 'Breaking Away'. My favorite movie of all time, and obviously a favorite of one of the producers on the show. Even the clips they showed gave me the chills.

It was great to see Mel from Flight of the Conchords again. She's damn funny.
I loved when Manny asked her for the 10 year back up plan, and she said "That's creepy, but maybe".
And she's found her man in Cam!

Phil singing to his wife how to control the thermostat had me dying.

One reason I come to this site is to be reminded of all the funny lines in a comedy. I am grinning ear to ear thinking about the thermostat song.

This episode could very well be the best of the series so far.

I'm sure I'll feel stupid when I hear the answer, but ... thinking back on this episode, I simply cannot figure out what the title ("Fifteen Percent") has to do with anything. Anyone know?

Car Computer: Where do you want to go?
Mitchell: Go to Hell!
Car Computer: Mexican food.

I agree with Ayre. This may have been the best episode so far.

Mitchel: Can people change? I dunno. People are who they are give or take 15%. That's how much people can change if they really want to.

Re: Modern Family -- "Fifteen Percent" -- 01/20/10

The part where Jay went over to Mitchells after Jay went golfing with Shorty had some quick lines in there too, when they were bantering back and forth...

Jay: Look @ me: My house is like little columbia, I've got a gay son, and a chinese granddaughter
Mitchell: Vietnamese
Jay: (rolling eyes) only you would know the difference

This week was great!

Manny telling his date that her beauty was cloaked in (whatever it was LOL I forgot), Manny wearing cologne

And Cam and the flowers....
