Basically each table you open up is you joining a player pool. You get seated at a table. When you fold, a new table swoops in with 9 new players. If you play, the table stays with you until the hand is done or you fold. Then a brand new table swoops in instantly.
Basically it's like turbo ring games. Each hand is against 9 new players so you can't develop reads. You can't use HUDs. You don't even have enough time to enter any player notes. It's basically poker on crack. And it's fucking stupid.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. Part of me agrees that it seems pretty stupid. Developing reads and adjusting your play for table style and opponents is a huge part of poker. Another part of me feels like it's a waste of the potential of internet gaming if all it does is replicate as closely as possible the same experience you could get in a live casino. I don't play at Full Tilt but if I did I'd be willing to try this out for awhile to see how it played.

how they handle the blinds is that the person at the new table who has gone the longest without posting the blinds is now the big blind poster. From there I have no idea how they determine the seating assignments.
I'm not sure why they do shit like this when they could easily add kill games & straddles. Oh and they could also do something crazy like improve their shitty customer service.

How do posting blinds and seating position work in a Rush Poker* game?
You’ll post the big blind upon joining a Rush Poker* game. After that, the big blind is assigned to the player who has gone the most hands without posting it. If there is a tie for who has gone the longest without posting, the big blind will be chosen randomly among the tied players. All other seating positions, including the small blind, are completely random from hand to hand.

I like both Pokerstars and Fulltilt's clients, mostly beacuse they're extremely customizable with card mods, table mods, and chip mods that you can download and install after a bit of google searching.
I'll never play on bodog again. That software is atrocious.

Fuck, don't get me started... it's late, I've had more than a few beers and I don't know what the hell I'm doing up at 6:00 in the morning... I digress.
Rush poker a horrible idea, hopefully it wont catch on (I doubt it will). If you can't get a "read" on the table you are sitting at, how the hell are you supposed to play poker?
Essentially Full Tilt has turned the online "game" into even more of a video game... I feel their (Full Tilts) software already has a video game quality to it. By that, for instance in a tournament (on Full Tilt) there is a very rhythmic pattern, late in the tourney (or near the bubble) you'll be on the button and dealt a quasi-decent hand AK of Ax (rag) with one limper from early position, technically you should "pop" it here to clear the blinds out and to see where you stand with the limper, instead (try this) you fold your hand only to find out that the big blind or small blind had Aces and the limper had KK, they end up all-in on the turn and KK spikes the one out K on the river to bust the blind and what was supposed to have been you too, but you live to see another hand. Obviously we can argue the value of any hand in that situation, that's not my point, it's the fact that daily in tourney's, at this same point in the game I fold "suspect" big hands in late position only to find out that the hand I was dealt was a "set up."
I hope you follow me on this, it's not a conspiracy rant per se (well kind of) but more like... hey Full Tilt, I see what you are doing here, there's a pattern... a feel, if you will. Granted if you aren't paying attention from the very beginning of a tourney you might not catch on to it. I know, maybe it's just me.
That being said, I've been playing a lot more live lately (Commerce and the Bike) out here in L.A. and I have to say that the variance in the live game vs. say, Full Tilt or Stars is night and day. I don't want to hear the "you're playing way more hands online" bs either, I seems to me that the online play changed when the Government brought the hammer down on making deposits a couple years ago. Sure, years ago when sites were proliferated with tons of "donks" winning was easy, yet, now supposedly the donks are gone and the players that remain are better, and more sophisticated, but now this so called "wiser" player will call you down to the river when statistically the odds say the shouldn't and they hit that miracle one outer.
Disclaimer: I'm kind of drunk/really tired right now, I apologize for the prior incoherent rant. If you can kind of get the gist of what I was trying to say congrats. :)

I use a free US Bank checking account (that is not tied to any other account solely for online poker) and they don't charge me a fee. The transactions show up as if you purchased something from a online retailer.

just now I went and two tabled $.50/$1 (the only limit they offer right now for limit games) and I crushed it for $65 in about an hour (550 hands or so)
its pretty addictive and everyone there sucks so it's kinda neat
it's not real poker but still a neat diversion

unlike you NL players though, I enjoy hold em pokers where you actually get to play 4 streets of action, unlike you guys where you either fold to a preflop 3-bet or fold/shove to a flop bet ;)
anyway, i'm hooked on the crack like nature of the game + the fact I get 27% rakeback... i'm up about 400 since i started

So can you not download hand history from Rush Poker hands? So far I'm up $50 or so playing it for about 2-3 hours - I'd usually break even on regular poker - I think people had hand history on me and saw what a folding pussy I am.
