I was changing channels last night and came upon this show thinking it was American Pie 1,254 or something until it went to one of the commercials and I found out it was a show..

I watched about twenty minutes of it before falling asleep. Really bad actors and writing but it looks guilty enough to be pleasurable - many different cuss words passing. I'll give the rest of the episode another shot.

I'm not bothering to watch this tonight, but I am going to record it. I'll give it a chance at some point. Looked decent. But I don't see it as something that I'll gut through if I'm not impressed by this first night.

Agreed on all counts. I just picked up the first two seasons at the urging of a co-worker and really enjoyed them both.

Season 3 just started the other night, so it was perfect timing for me to start watching too.

I liked the TV show, but have a bad feeling about this one. Definitely will give it a view though.

Can you watch the movie without having seen the show?

Not sure if you'd find it funny without having a feel for the main characters already. It's an over blown drug and sex romp (not much nudity, but more language and a lot more drugs than the TV show). It's funny if you don't try and make any sense out of it.

lol, yeah, you are right. In particular, I have totally blocked Sammy out of my head. Going in, I figured there would be more female scenes than there were - so maybe it was about my expectation.

Looking back again, there was a good deal showing.
