African movie posters

Personally, I think they're quite cool.

And expensive, usually running around $100 to 200 on Ebay. If anyone ever travels to Africa someday (like Ghana or Ivory Coast), now one knows what souvenirs to pick up there.

Re: African movie posters

I appreciate the hand-drawn artwork, even if it is comical.

I have to say, it never occurred to me to use a heart for an "o" when spelling, "The Terminator."

Re: African movie posters

I'm guessing Africa's Movie Promotions Ministry is run from someone's tool shed.

Honestly, with all the problems in your average African state I'm glad movie posters are done on the cheap.

Re: African movie posters

They just played video game fatality highlights from mortal kombat 3 in the african movie theaters. It was the most popular film in the Ivory Coast in 1998. They even had matinees just for african kids - basically having babalities instead of fatalities. The actor that played johhny cage in the first mortal kombat is the biggest celebrity over there.
