It was ok. Not as funny as other eps but still decent.

I was cracking up at this episode even more that I passed a kidney stone myself on Sunday night. I could totally empathize with what he went through. Now that it is over and done with, I can laugh about it.
Charlie Goose, have you ever had a kidney stone? I can tolerate pain, but this was on another level. Ten times the pain I have ever experienced. It came along with severe nausea, dehydration, almost passing out numerous times, and having the general feeling that my balls were in a vice being closed shut while being hit with a sledgehammer. So yes I can see them calling 911 for a kidney stone as I did myself...LOL.
I am happy to say though, that my wife didn't get all dolled up for the rescue workers... LOL

This is quickly becoming my favorite comedy. Although we were cracking up during the whole show, the wife and I loved the sleep training.

The episode started a little slow for me and for whatever reason I was ready to hate it, but then I found myself starting to crack up. The ending killed me. At first, I couldn't believe Phil was being such an asshole. Then to discover his guilt-based? Genuis! Only then to immediately have his planned destroyed.

My wife & I laughed the whole time as well. I loved how Phil got his wife to confess. We are trying to sleep train our son now. My wife is the weak one oh and my son is 2!

Pretty funny episode. Liked how Claire was getting all sexed up for the Fireman even though Phil was in pain. The stuff was Benjamin Bratt was good as well. I would like to see him again as a recurring character if he doesn't get another gig next Fall.
I agree with Jadzia, the scenes with the sleep training bugged me. I hate to see a baby really cry on a TV show.
Don't Talk Black to Me was the best line of the entire episode.

I don't mind seeing/hearing babies cry on TV because I realize it's a job for that baby, and that baby is making bank! Bears, OTOH....

Phil in pain was the funniest thing I've seen on tv in a while.
"It's passing, I'm sorry to alarm everybody I think I was probably just overreacting because...
(in severe pain)...there's an alien inside me!"

I also like the line from Manny in response to the question, what don't you like hearing from your Parents and he replies, "You are wearing too much cologne"
I liked Bratt as well. They went beyond the stereotype which was nice..

Anyone know if that was Dodger Stadium or Angel Stadium? I'm assuming it's one of those two since the show is shot in L.A.
Bratt was a pretty good addition to the cast and it was pretty weird hearing him talking with a accent. I'm just used to hearing him on Law and Order reruns.
Now Jay knows exactly how Manny feels about Javier.
Claire getting dolled up for the firemen was pretty funny, especially when Phil called her out on it.
I'm so getting a water weasel for this summer. Just have to make sure I don't put it in my pants.
