Will there be Matrix or LOTR individual releases?
A simple question really - so far there have been multiple sets that have been released, Star Trek Films, Matrix and soon to be Lord of the Rings that seem to only be released in big packs.
My main issue is the packaging as I like the blu-ray cases and despise the digipacks, paper cases and ridiculously thin thin packs. I know others disagree, but hey, that's me.

Eventually. Right now the studios would rather have people spend $40-60 on a 3 movie pack (1 typically being great, the others meh) then only buying 1 movie.

Pretty much only The Matrix matters. Reloaded or Revolutions not so much...but I'd the get the set to see all the cool filmmaking features..which..I do have on DVD...I'll get the Blu set when it goes down in price.

Because the market is much smaller, almost all of these boxsets can be had individually if bought from the U.K. They also do not get the goofy packaging with swag, so regular editions for most movies can be found on Amazon UK.

In regards to the LOTR films, the discs in the upcoming theatrical edition boxset seem to have been authored for eventual individual releases; what other reason would they have for putting the same 3 trailers on each of the three BDs?
