momitsu bdp-799 AVI / MKV soft subtitles
I was testing the usb playback abilities tonight on some MKV and AVI files. The picture looked great, but the soft subtitles won't show up. I tried the different subtitle buttons on the remote, but none worked. Has anyone had luck with this or have any suggestions???

In my case the subtitles are already integrated. What was the process in your case? Were you extracting the subtitles into separate files, or integrating them?

Adding them. If you can extract them you should try the program I suggested. It makes the subs into bitmaps, it's worked 100% of the time for me.
