WETA vs. ILM : who makes better FX?
Right now I would have to go with WETA. LOTR, King Kong, and Avatar are all great showcases. ILM was good in its time, but lately they haven't done much that I would call impressive, and while all CGI is fake, theirs is starting to look moreso comparatively speaking.
EDIT: Let's not make this about who will have the bigger legacy, as ILM pretty much made modern FX possible. Let's go with who's currently the best game in town and who will be in the possible future.

I think we did this topic a few months ago, but I'm sticking with WETA.
ILM when they go all out, are top of the game, but they rarely do that anymore. Star Trek and Transformers are their only movies this year that comes close to Avatar or District 9 in the SFX department.
