The text i've entered is too long for the PM

Well, i'm trying to write a PM , but it will not let me write over 2,000 characters. Is there any way this can be increased?

I have the same problem. You can delete previous messages (messages your quoting, etc too) to get around it..

i did delete the previous message and still too long.

i guess it's not a huge deal, i can send 2 or 3 PMs but it'd be nice if the character limit could be raised a little, perhaps a perk for premium members?

Dick will be raising the character limit from 2,000 characters to 3,000 characters shortly. I know it's not unlimited but it should help in most situations I imagine.

Ran into this problem a little bit over the summer when I was using PMs while trading through the exchange forum. Though, as you mentioned previously, deleting quoted text in a reply was often times a remedy.

You can also try the email function, if the user has it enabled.

You can use all the words you want, but I've already told you, you're just not my type.

The Edit King reaches the 2000 character limit on smilies alone!

well, you helped me come out of the closet, so of course, any guy after you would remind me a little bit of you.

It's nice to know that with every guy you have relations with, I will be remembered.
