Parks and Recreation -- "The Fourth Floor" -- 12/03/09

Parks and Recreation

Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Leslie learns that Tom is getting divorced, so she organizes a night out on the town to cheer him up.

I knew Tom and his hot wife weren't going to last.

BTW, Louis C.K. will probably not be on this show anymore. He has a new show on FX called "Louie" that is premiering in March.

Ron's line about it seems like each of these girls has a low-grade fever cracked me up

Ron Swanson brought the funny. Especially at the breakfast bar.

Ron might just be the best character on tv right now.

He definitely has the best hair.

What was up with his hair at the end of the episode?

It's growing back from when he got shot in the head last episode. I loved that!

Ron's look on his face with tongs full of meat at the breakfast bar was hysterical.

And the fourth floor was great.

Another solid episode.

Re: Parks and Recreation -- "The Fourth Floor" -- 12/03/09

Questlove from the Roots compares Parks to the Wu Tang Clan

i been watching the show closely and noticed vast improvements each ep. and the last few eps i keep saying "aight (name here) is the "homer" of the show (remember when first 2-3 year of the simpsons were about bart and then homer pulled a coup de tat after season 3 thus making bart a guest star on his own show?

each friggin character won't let up!

amy and rza are obviously the head/attraction of the stack. and aziz's awesomely annoying mile a minute tom is obviously odb (he was my favorite on the ep in which he busted ron's moonlighting job--no spoilers--). rash is pretty much the center here and appeals to many a demographic hence she's meth. mark's paul is more straight ahead and hasn't really had a chance to shine (but is fully capeable if given that proper chance--thus INS DECK)

as it stands now Ron Swanson got about 2-3 more eps on the level of Hunting and i'm *this* close to crowning him king. the same way ghost picked up the baton outta nowhere for supreme clientel.

there is a 3 way tie for the silent deadly killers

as it stands now andy(chris pratt) really should be redman in this analogy of wu tang as rec/park but he easily earns his raekwon (the cast episode--making the "ann" song up on the spot to avoid getting kicked out, camping in the pit, playing the fbi on mischief night, the shoe shine incident (that interaction alone with ron's ghost makes these two a natural pair) now that he works at city hall it gives him a chance to bounce off more characters.

april/aubrey is NOT to be slept on, her staring at the 4th wall ala jim in the office is classic dead pan hall of fame material. i hope they develop her more but she is comic gold.

which leaves jerry. whom is one of my favorite characters on the show. not everyone can get the kobe/jordan spotlight and sometimes great work goes overlooked. but i appreciate his silent humor just as i appreciate aziz's loud ass comments.

i really wish the ratings of the shows were judged on internet viewing cause i watch the show via itunes instead of tv. which i know is helping nan.---but i felt this was a highly overdue post.

ugh. i got an album to finish and here i am doing a college paper on this show lol
