I can't believe there hasn't been a thread on this yet, but this show looks BEYOND amazing. A bunch of douchebags and whores whoring it up on MTV? This has the possibility of being solid gold.
Will I be watching it? Hard yes.

I can't wait for this, as a Jerseyan, and someone who is a huge fan of the Summer Share True Life, this looks like must see tv.

i can't wait.. should be called real world jersey shore though.. hopefully some of cast can make it on the challenges... especially fist pumpin guy.

I caught a preview of this last week and I said the exact same thing to my brother. Regardless of how god awful this is (which we all know it will be), it could be the end of the guidos for good...or it will make them stronger...
Being from Jersey (and being within a stone throw of the Shore), I can tell you right now that the show is already accurate.

Premiers tonight. After reading this thread, and seeing new previews, they removed saying "guidos" from the commericals.

i think one person is actually from NJ though. The rest are from Staten Island, Long Island and upstate NY.

Doesn't matter. They will still associate all the guidos with NJ, as they have done in the past. And they will continue to attribute those hideous LI and SI accents to NJ even when no one I know who lives in NJ talks like that.
