What is CS Circle Surround 5.1?

I am looking to buy either a Kenwood VR-407 or Kenwood VR-409. The only difference I can find between the two models is the VR-409 has CS Circle Surround 5.1 listed as one of its features. Does anyone know what this is and if it is something worth buying the VR-409 over the VR-407? Thanks
