I recently had a hankerin' to hear Mike's "Islands" again, but only have in on cassette. Silly me, I don't have a cassette player anymore.
Fast forward to now: I see it has been remastered and released on CD. Count me in! Unfortunately, I see that, due to Max Bacon's contractual agreements with Arista, it only includes the UK version of "Magic Touch" with a dude named Price on vocals. I find it weak compared to Bacon's version.
Does anyone know if the original US version was ever released via any digital format? I would love to get the rest of the album in its remastered state, but I would prefer the Bacon version of "Magic Touch".
Am I out of luck?
