3 idols with one total clue? Fighting back from being down 8-4? Blindsides at every turn? These last few weeks have been great -- i'm loving this season, and Russell is turning into one of my favorite players ever...

They didn't show him telling anyone else, but there's two possibilities why he didn't play it.
1) They assume he has it/he told them he does - thus the vote for Natalie instead
2) John told him they were going to vote for Natalie (not Russell). Else why wouldn't he play it?

Is this for real? I'm loving the past few weeks, but can't help but wonder if everything is scripted. 3 idols with only 1 clue? Can a player really be this awesome without help?
This is the farthest I've ever swung in such a short period of time. I full out hated Russell and Shambo both at the beginning. Now, I hope Russell wins the whole damn thing!

Shambo's an a-hole in the way she can't help but laugh at her "enemy" being out of the immunity contest early, and at tribal council. She'd be a horrible poker player.
At least Rocket Scientist did figure out the game theory benefits to flip now instead of relying on a 1 in 8 chance of going home with the rock pull.

I love this season. It started off slow but boy has it picked up. Russell is amazing at finding those idols, I hope he keeps his mouth shut about having it this time.

That commercial must have been from last season.
I think Russell didnt think he needed to use the idol as long as his 4 and shambo voted for Laura both times. I hope he doesnt tell anyone he had it. In fact he should have spent the entire time leading up to the TC looking for it like he hadnt found it.
