This sounds like it could be a really good episode. I agree this could be a riff on 2012 and I think SP has the ability to create the most epic feeling 22min episodes out of any show I've ever seen.
Side note:
Personally, I think I can live without South Park Christmas eps. The first Mr. Hankey ep was really funny at the time, but I hate, hate that character. Most of the Christmas episodes fall pretty flat (especially when they animated the Christmas album and the Charlie Manson one), with the notable exception of Woodland Critter Christmas which stands for me as one of the best episodes they have ever done. It seemed like they felt they needed to make a holiday episodes those times and the quality reflected that.

I don't agree. The one where the boys convince Santa to bring Christmas to Iraq is outstanding, and the one where they go to Canada to bring back Ike is another gem, in addition to the critter one.

I've never been a big fan of the x-mas episodes but that Thanksgiving one where they did the Helen Keller musical was a riot.

I agree. Critter Christmas was right after those two also, so their last 3 have been really good. I like that they're not forcing one but it'd be nice to see one again.

Totally a fan of all the Christmas ones. Red Sleigh Down was epic and hilariously ironic - Santa dying so Jesus may live. It's Christmas in Canada was so ridiculously timely with the whole Saddam spiderhole thing and great songs for a perfect parody of The Wizard of Oz. Woodland Critters was so disturbing you couldn't help but like it.
Sad to see South Park go, especially since I've already lost Tosh.0 again. TV time is dwindling.

South Park is finished, Curb Your Enthusiasm is ending Sunday. Soon I'll only have Dexter left to watch on tv. I thought the episode was pretty funny though. Really this entire second half season didn't have a weak episode in my opinion.

I think Matt and Trey read the Other Forum. Some of that dialog sounded strangely familiar...

Classic song!
The lazy river has never been lazier.
And I totally agree about those water parks. EWWWW! They're like petri dishes.
Good old Randy, sacrificing himself.
I do like the "story" episodes better, but I love the songs here, especially Christmastime in Hell and Merry Fucking Christmas.

Cartman is such an unapologetic little racist bastard.
