I think Light was by far my favorite so far. But, I have enjoyed the series overall.

Well.....too bad they used the Time Travel theme so early in the season...I hate these episode. Don't writers learn from past mistakes.
But...the way the ended the episode...was a nice touch.

decent ep. The "blair witch approach" was kinda interesting and the ending, although annoying, was pretty good.

What is going to royally piss me off is the moment the fucking replicators show up.

I really liked this episode a lot. All of the actors did a good job of portraying just how uncomfortable it would be to watch an alternate you meeting your demise. More than the fear of watching themselves die they were worried about what they might say or how they would act in their final hours and how that would reflect on them. Fortunately they all seemed to acquit themselves quite well.

Thought this episode really sucked. Typically anti-climactic time travel bullshit.
It was all a huge waste of time

So, the idea behind it was quite good. However, the execution was a bit lacking.

Man, this episode was lame. And I usually love time-travel sci-fi episodes no matter how overdone it is.
I loved the way the series just ran forward from the first episode (like BSG) but this seems like a trip and fall. Hopefully it improves next week.

I hadnt seen any since the premiere. Thought the idea, despite time travel being a lame scifi device, was neat and initial execution really good- nice threat and dramatic interaction- but all that goodwill was sunk in the episodes end.
I'm sure they thought it was clever but I think if you are aiming for a realistic/drama-heavy scifi series, in the end, falling back on coincidence (the cure) and the old time travel, kill em' all, hit the reset button pulp device is a bad idea.

I really enjoyed this episode. Probably because I got to see Chloe die twice (kidding... kind of). Anyway a great character building episode, and while everything was "erased" at the end, all of that revelations here were entirely for our benefit (as opposed to moving the story along), so I think this episode succeeded in that regard.
I have to disagree. Having the Icarus survivors aboard the Destiny totally cut off from "home" and on their own has been done to death, including previously in Stargate (S1 of Atlantis). Having access to the communication stones puts a spin on a sci-fi convention that's really become a cliche at this point.
And besides, anything's better then another episode of them running around on a one climate planet throwing sand/ice/what-the-hell-ever into a test tube for the entire hour.

I agree with everybody so far that this was not that great of an episode. There had some really good moments and it was a puzzle what was really going on.
I did enjoy that the root problem was the water supply and that it wasn't so each to just grab some ice a few episodes ago.
That said, all of that, along with the character growth for Eli and Rush just went out the window. Why bother doing that? Sure it's good if the audience knows, but if nobody on the show does that big deal.
Although I do have to ask - was it resolved? A lot here assume that the next time they found the other Kino with Scott's message they avoided everything. However, when the episode ended I assumed it was another cliffhanger in the same method as Darkness. <shrug>

The problem with episodic sci-fi is that it can't take the really big chances, like killing all the major characters in the first season. They paint themselves into a corner, and this is the only way out. It was handled a hell of a lot better than they would have on any of the Star Trek series. And the ending is rather ambiguous, which is refreshing.

The moment that they revealed everyone was watching a recording of something that hadn't happened, I knew it was sent through the wormhole from the future. The rest of the story was just seeing how they got to that point. Really, it was pretty much this episode, remade:

I've seen every episode of SG-1. I suppose it was similar to 2010, but that didn't jump out to me immediately. Either way, as I said it wasn't a very good episode. Some good moments, but all around poor execution.

I didn't like that it took the whole episode to explain something any self respecting stargate fan figured it out in 30 seconds. I'm assuming Rush has read all the SG teams/Atlantis mission reports (Cam Mitchell did!). Why didn't they just use the communicator stones to ask Carter or McKay what to do. Parts of it were good, but way to much time spent on Eli.
Right after I watched it, I watched SG1 episodes Exodus/Enemies, The Fifth Man, 48 Hours, and Summit/Last Stand. I felt much better.
