Thanks OP! Finally picked up Series 3 to complete my collection..... by the way, check your individual gold box..... mine had Series 4 (which I already own) for $30.47, a few bucks cheaper still.

Where was this deal when I still needed 3 of these sets?!

Thankfully, I found series 2 at a flea market for $8 last year- which brought my average down to about $35 per series. Still, it would have been great to get all 4 this cheap at once.

Why does $32.50 for one season still sound so expensive? How many episodes are on a season?

It is expensive, but $32.50 is a steal for this great sci-fi show. One of my favorite shows of all time.

^ 14 episodes per set (13 for season one, as there was no Christmas special).

I agree, it does seem terribly expensive - but these sets originally retailed for $99.98 and before now they have rarely gone on sale below $50. Lots of nice features, but I still might think twice before buying them (even at this price) if I was only a casual fan of the show. Personally, it's one of the few shows I keep revisting, so I find it worth the money.
