Hey guys, can somebody tell me if the special features are good on the Ultimate Collection DVD set? Because I was going to get the 2-disc Collectors Edition of the original Jurassic Park which includes everything I'm looking for, but then when i came across this I started having second thoughts since this package includes all the movies as well as a bonus disc. Anyway, how does all the special content for the original Jurassic Park on the Ultimate Collection compare to the Collectors Edition?

I can't seem to find anything about the 2-disc edition on any of the normal DVD sale sites. Are you talking about a Region 1 edition? If it's about a non-US/Canada release, you should ask in the International DVD Talk section.

Looks like everything you listed that's on the two-disc R4 is also available on the R1 Collector's Edition -- the Dolby Digital 5.1 variety, not the DTS -- that's been available in every Jurassic Park boxset released.

As near as I can tell, the R1 single-disc release contents have been present on every release. In fact, I think they're the same discs in each release, be it the Trilogy box set, the JP/Lost World single and collected release or the Adventure Collection.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, Ive decided to buy the original Jurassic Park on a stand alone DVD insted of the ultimate collection box set, as Ive herd the quality of the transfer isn't to good. Anyway, this DVD was only released a little while ago here in Aus, and it contains everything I'm looking for. Happy with the purchase.

The only additional thing you can get is the Beyond Jurassic Park bonus disc. I have the Adventure Pack and the bonus disc.
