Thanks OP. In in for one, and glad I waited. All the original music, bonus CD and the crossover episode from The Practice. Good deal.

Crap. Should I or shouldn't I? I'm not sure I'd rewatch it again after going through the set. Not to mention will it get cheaper in a year or so... Grrr!

Wow -- amazing price. I was shooting myself for not biting at the $99 price, but I just checked out without a moment's hesitation.

Agreed...I was positive this would drop below $99, but I didn't have any idea it would be so soon. In for 1.

So soon being the key words. Amazon sure has been sticking it to those who pre-order and buy week 1 in a big way lately.
This and Sunshine Cleaning being prime examples, but this one even surpassed the BD.
I expect that deals will go on and that someone who waits 3 months, maybe even 6 months is very likely going to see a deal on something I wanted immediately.
But you don't usually expect to see such whopping kicks in the groin in a mere month or two.
Honestly, I'm happy for everyone getting this deal and I hope a lot of people buy it because it's kind of a wonderful but forgotten show, but had it been a Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal or come a month or two later, if this wasn't already the beginning of the holidays, I wouldn't feel as royally screwed by some of these really amazing drops so soon after the release.
I mean, it was released on the 6th of last month, so I think had it been purchased at BB, you'd qualify for the 30 day guarantee.

Hey, what about that thing Amazon has if you buy a product and then it sells for less you get a refund?
Can I send my unopend box back and reorder for this low price?

Big thanks OP!
Told my g/f about this and she placed an order in a quick second. $99 was still a little much (Costco's price) but $78 is even better :)

I caved and bought it. For some reason, the show never appealed to me when it was on...but then again I was judging based on the annoying commercials Fox used to run for it. Never caught an episode...but I keep on hearing so much good about it and I enjoy David E Kelley's other shows. I hope this is worth it.

I called Amazon csr. When she looked it up the price went back to over $100.
I asked if I could sent it back and got the goldbox price if I had called before the price change. She said yes.

I think a lot of stores have been doing this kind of heavy reduction shortly after street, like He's Just Not That Into You. Probably the economy and DVD-sales environment.

I had a similar issue with a box set I bought from amazon.co.uk when they were still refunding for price changes after you bought. I e-mailed them to ask for a price adjustment, and by the time they looked at the price, it had gone back up, so they said it was no go. I e-mailed them back and pointed out that when I sent the first e-mail, the lower price was valid. They agreed and refunded the difference.
Obviously your case is different, since you didn't order the gold box deal, and they no longer offer the guarantee.

Again, I'm throwing out the word random. Maybe I just have a black cloud over me. Heck, I've been waiting for the 2nd and 3rd Friday the 13th movies to drop under $10 and they still haven't. Many movies in my wish list are still priced pretty high many, many months after their release.
But Sunshine Cleaning randomly gets selected to be $9.99 two months after release. And Ally drops $21 literally a month after it was released.
Black cloud. Not the economy.

I don't mean to derail the thread topic, but I'm pretty certain these are $9.00 at Wal-Mart (if you're referring to the deluxe editions DVDs that have been released). I think I've also seen them at FYE for about $10 on sale during the month of October. I picked 'em up used through the goHastings sale posted here for about $3 or so each.

Looking for those 2 on BD. Mostly for nostalgia as all the other version after the 3-D one, I either didn't see or don't care to see. But I kind of grew up on the first 3 and certainly expected 2 and 3 to be under $10 by now. Well, before Sunshine Cleaning. And I simply don't care enough about them to pay more than the $9.99 I expected them to be it.
Thanks for trying to help with your info on the SD releases.
