We Aussies get the 2-disc steelbook version of Terminator Salvation on DVD! :D
So happy about this, I really thought that's long with the states, that we were going to get the crappy 1-disc edition with no extras or directors cut..

:D
just found it, unfortunately futureshop only ships within canada.
amazon.ca is listing two versions without covers, one being more expensive.
perhaps that is this 2disc edition as well!?
however i would be hesitant to order until i could confirm that the
artwork is not billingual!
do warner titles in canada normally come with billingual artwork?
in any case, if everbody also gets a 2disc set on standard dvd except the us,
that would be the ultimate shit move by warner :D

Yes, Warner DVDs have bilingual packaging.
The only studio pretty much NOT doing bilingual packaging is Disney. They continue to release an English version and a bilingual version.

FYE will have this DC edition in non-steelbook form according to pics in their store. it looked dark orangish with just a Terminator on cover and no people, but don't remember that clearly.

I thought Quebec was the only place in Canada that had bilingual packaging.
The bilingual package is all over Canada just because of Quebec, which is also one of the reasons DVDs/Blu-rays/Video Games are more expensive here than in US because of the extra cost of printing in French, such as game manuals, and outer packaging.

I can't stand bilingual packaging. I bought dvd's with bilingual packaging for a couple years before I stopped. Now I buy all my dvd's that have bilingual packaging in the States, so as to avoid this. I'm also slowly replacing all my bilingual titles with American versions when they go on sale for very cheap. So I can pawn my bilingual dvd for nearly the same price. It's a small price to pay when you're extremely anal.
Luckily I won't have to worry about this for Terminator Salvation, as I thought it was horrible. That is unless my anal tendencies kick in again and I can't stand looking at Terminator 1-3 on my shelf without it's inferior 4th companion sitting on the shelf.

Okay, I'll bite: what's the story?
Terry Crews had a scene at the beginning of the movie berating John Connor as his superior, and it was cut in the theatrical release, but you still see his dead body in the movie after Connor leaves the hole.
Terry Crews got mad at McG for not telling him and having to find out when he saw the movie. He said, it was probably cut to get a PG-13 since he was dropping the F-bomb in it.
And even though McG said the scene would be on the DVD/Blu-Ray, its neither in the directors cut, nor in a deleted scene.
