I just picked up the new Flight of the Conchords today, so I've been listening to that, but mainly I've been locked up with George Harrison's solo albums.

I somehow missed the memo that Bentley Rhythm Ace released a second album:

 I LOVE this album.
I do too, it annoyed me that NME gave it a low number score, but hey they really don't care for electronic dance music to begin with anyway, so screw them.

I've been on a Johnny Cash kick lately, and have mostly been revisiting his American Recordings-era work. Also, I continue to enjoy the music of Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears.

Yeasayer's new single - Ambling Alp. Over and over and over and over again.
Finally released after over a year's worth of delays. My copy arrived a week and a half early - hooray! The new tracklist flows better than the old promo one, even if one of the best tracks - single "I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me" - got bumped to the bonus disc. Oh well.
I think this one has gotten better over the past year. Amazing.

The Annie album finally came out? I've had leaked tracks for like a year. I wonder what the hell went on.

It actually isn't out in the US until November 17th - it came out in the UK a few weeks ago - but I ordered it directly from the distributor and they shipped two weeks early. Here's a link (http://sakistore.net/product_info.php?products_id=31239&osCsid=fdqq6i0jnieid2ikdoalmlqt33), but I don't know if they'll ship early now or if that was a pre-order surprise.
Also, the bonus disc only has five tracks, not six like it says:
All Night / I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me / Anthonio / I Can't Let Go / Sweet

i'm advising everyone to stay far away from this one...auto-tuned to hell and back. i saw paul a week after this was recorded and i can assure you he sounded 100 times better WITHOUT the auto-tuning.

I just got my copy, that's great news.
dammit, I knew this was going to be iffy. Anybody know of any other McCartney shows to check out as the definitive show?
