Having recently jumped into the DVD thing with the purchase of my Sony 360, I now WANT/NEED DTS. I know the sound can be better than what is currently coming out of my TV speakers..

So, being on a cheap budget, I'm looking at HTiB because, well, I can't afford much more.

Two cheapies that I've found are..

JVC DS-TP330 for 400/so
Pana SC-HT280 for 400/so

My questions are which of these two are better?

I know many of you cringe when you hear HTiB, and I've read that it is possible to build a better HT system cheaper by buying components separately... If this is true, I would appreciate suggestions.

Thanks a lot! Any response is greatly appreciated!

Are you gonna keep the system for many years to come????. If you do, I recommend that you build a decent system up slowly. Those cheap HTIB package that's all they are....cheap.
