Store pickup is available even though it is online-only, so you can bypass the shipping charges.

I came across this sale last night too when I went on to bestbuy.com. GREAT series and great price; I did store pickup and will get it tomorrow after work :) Between this and the 24 Season 7 set for $12.99 at Target, it's a good week for cool TV box sets!!!

Firefly, one of Fox's most maddening cancellations. (Imagine five or six seasons of Firefly on DVD! What a loss.) It's a witty, sharp, wonderfully imagined outer space western. Great characters, great effects and design. So much smarter than anything going on in the Star Trek universe at the time. If you like sci fi and don't know the show, grab it at this price. You won't be disappointed. And don't forget Serenity, which provided some closure on the series.

I already own Serenity but never watched this show which might explain why I didn't like the movie that much. Maybe seeing the show wiill help me enjoy it more....

Great buy for those who love a well written, fun scifi show. I just bought the BR last week at Wal-Mart for $40 since my DVDs are a little worn from passing it along to friends. The only extras on the BR are one new commentary (which is great) and some of the cast doing a roundtable dinner discussion (also good).
Its nice to see that everything I see out of the cast shows they loved doing the show and it comes through on screen.

My experience with their online pickup system is that there have to be more than two copies on the shelf at that store to show the status as available for pickup. When I went to pick mine up today, they had a display with $12.99 flags on the shelf.

Picked this up can't wait to watch it.... I was surprised to see that fox even uses the recycle eco design with the slim cases as well. I can't complain though... they can save all the pennies they want if I can get their dvds at these kind of prices.

I wish I knew someone to give this to as an Xmas gift - I've already got as many folks as I know "hooked" on Firefly as I think I can. $13 is a great, great price for a phenomenal series. If you've never seen it, don't stop.... go get this!

I had placed an order on the site for delivery when it was on backorder and it wasn't available at my local store. Then a few hours later, I checked again and it wasn't on backorder anymore and the site said it was available at my local store. So placed a second order for store pickup and then tried to cancel my first order.
However, when I called in to request the cancellation of the first order, they said it was too late and was being processed for shipping and that when I received the shipment, I could just go to the store to return it. However, the person wasn't sure if I would be refunded the shipping charge. Does anyone know how this works at BB in terms of getting refunded for the shipping charge for a return made in-store?

They would probably only give you a refund for shipping if it was defective or wrong item sent.
