The US release just came out this week so I finally watched this film for the first time a couple nights ago, and loved it. The movie has really stayed with me, so I've been trying to find out more about it. Well, I noticed that there's a Finnish version which is a 2 DVD set, and contains the usual extras such as commentaries, making of, etc. This is notable as the US version is bare-bones and only contains one trailer for the film, and not even the teaser.

Does anyone here have or have seen the Finnish DVD version? I believe the film has English subtitles, but was wondering if there are subs for the making of or (long shot, here) the commentary? Are there any other notable extras?

Here's the US release:

And the Finnish 2 disc version:

I have the 2-disc Finnish release. The movie does have English subtitles. However, if you don't have a 16:9 TV set, it might be problematic in that the subtitles will only display if you distort the aspect ratio on the film. The extras - commentary, making of, deleted/extended scene(s), blooper reel, trailers - don't have English subtitles (as far as I know).

There's a region-free Malaysian DVD but they don't appear to have ported over any of the extras.

Thanks for the info, flixtime!

I do have a 16:9 TV, so that's no problem. I was hoping that at least the making of would have subtitles, but I guess not. Hopefully Criterion or another company can get the rights for a more definitive release in the US. It seems right up their alley.
