Just starting NBA in the UK on ESPN America. Trying to watch sports abit as I was never really into it.
Just a few questions:
1) How/when/why do they play the Addams Family theme?
2)They have that event on every year when the star players show off their skills. When do they do that and what is it called?

They play the Addams Family theme to get the crown to clap/make noise
and they do the Skills Comp at the Allstar game

No, I guess thats why they played it. I was wondering why did someone decide that was the song to do it? Who had the idea first?

There's a number of songs that are conducive to a crowd responding. There's probably no way to know who started using that particular one.
