Anyone get these yet? Everyone is saying these are the best home theater headphones - the "Holy Grail" of surround sound wired headphones. People are saying it's like listening to a regular expensive home theater...
Here's the link to their site: http://www.smyth-research.com/index.html
I can't find one review online that literally reviews a DVD though while wearing these.

$3000 for a set of headphones? I'd rather spend that money on a good receiver, speakers, and sub so you can share the audio experience instead of keeping it for myself!

Well, if you live in an apartment or something like that and have the money.... but I would never do it.

Well, after the sub and receiver, you'd have to get another $3000 to finish a "good" setup.

Not even wireless? Dang. Best stuff from ht speakers is the sub that rattles your seat.

What you linked to isn't a set of headphones. It's a processor/amplifier system that processes audio to simulate surround sound through a set of headphones. The system does come with a set of Stax electrostatic headphones, which themselves sell for $900.

Says it works with any headphones (which I have plenty of.) How much for just the processor/amplifier system? Seems I can't purchase that separately without the Stax cans.

For $3000, they'd better fix me something to eat, while I turn everything on and put a disc in the player.
Those are for people with more money than sense............
