im pretty sure that this unit has major over heating problems, and that is why everywhere is trying to sell them realy cheap.

I have this unit and would ONLY recommend the SA-DX930 for the bedroom. I had it for a little over a year and its been in the shop once already. Runs very hot and I've never notice the fan come on. I got the Yamaha HTR-5150 and i an very happy with this receiver as my main receiver. Hope this helps....

Sorry to break the trend but I have that receiver and have used it for over a year with no problems. Yes it runs hot but I have it on an open rack. I listen to DTS music CDs and it anchors my home theater system. At what I paid for it it is a good unit. So I'm pleased with it and will keep using the SA-DX930 until I upgrade to a pre amp/power amp set up in the future.
