I read Jeffrey Robinson's DVD review of Numb3rs: The Fifth Season at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=38693 and...I loved the show and watched it regularly until the "Sneakerhead" episode. Maybe I didn't get the humor or whatever they were going for; but that and then the following subplot of Charlie and Alan trying to mathematically work out a way for the college basketball team to win just made, for me, the show silly. They dropped the interesting subplot of Charlie being a best selling author, which had potential, for a basketball team! Anyway... I have yet to warm back up to the show despite several attempts.
