EDIT: Scratch Ichi. I just checked and now see that it has been bumped to November 24. I don't think that this movie will ever be released on Blu.:(

I was wondering that myself. The Blu-Ray was announced as Region B, & now that reviews are coming out, it has been confirmed as Region B, that is why I assumed since a couple of you posted you were getting it, that meant you had Region free players.

Isn't this the same as the UK edition though? Every review & forum I've gone to about this release has stated it's Region B. I haven't seen one posting about it being region free.

I think all the Canadians who would buy this and not be able to watch it would be pretty pissed off, so we'll have to see how it turns out.
I'm renting Dead Snow and Wrong Turn 3 this week and I'll wait to grab Transformers 2 used since I wasn't too impressed with it.

The same studio that is releasing this released The Brothers Bloom on October 6th. I have that disc, and it plays just fine in my region A player (not that I ever doubted).

Received the DEAD SNOW import blu ray today from amazon.ca (Canada). It plays fine on all of my Blu ray players - including the PS3. It's region A, from E1 Entertainment. I'm in the US, so North American buyers can rest assured that it will work on domestic Blu ray players. Be warned- with postage you'll be paying about $42.00 for this disc.
