Synopsis:

When an insurance salesman visits the office, Dwight and Andy believe he's a Mafia man and set out to convince Michael of their suspicions. Meanwhile, secretary Ellie has a brush with notoriety: She unwittingly destroys Pam's painting.

Pam's painting or Pam's drawing? I'm thinking of the drawing she made in the Art Fair episode and Michael hangs it up on the wall next to his office.

The video link didn't work, but if you type her name into the search bar on E's site it comes up.

You could tell from Blades of Glory that she had a good body, but damn, that video is flat out ridiculous.

I take it Ellie = Erin, aka Ellie Kemper? Or is there going to be someone new?

The synopsis has the wrong name in it. It should be Erin, which is the secretary's middle name (we learned that last season when Charles Miner would call her into his office and Kelly Kapoor would come in instead.)

Ellie Kemper is the actress.

Wow Jenna Fischer looks much younger than 35. Let that be a lesson for you ladies, don't have kids and your body can still look like a 27 year old well into your 30's ;)

Kevin cancelling jims credit cards was just awesome, so funny and the discussion with Oscar was great. Really liked Micheals call to Jim and Andy jumping the car was great.

The stuff with the salesman I didnt care for, but the other stuff was great. Kevin saying hes been using Jims office to fart, and how jims office is better his home, and the ending with Kevin calling Pam, great stuff. really good episode

and yes, Jenna Fischer does not look 35.

So did I miss it or did that subplot with the painting get nixed? Decent episode overall. This season (with the exception of the wedding episode) doesn't have many laughs for me, but I still enjoy it.

My crystal ball sees a baby being born in the finale.

A 12 month pregnancy? Come on. You're smarter than that.

And I believe Daniels said Pam's baby would be born in January or February.

Good episode, loved Andy as a mechanic haha

Edit: Unless you mean someone else's baby...then it's fair game...

NBC and DirecTV need to better communicate on what time to end their shows.

Looks like it got relegated to the cutting room floor. Funny stuff, though.

That was a really great episode. Michael wasn't terribly annoying. I didn't really dig the salesman, but I liked the concept of Michael dealing with a shitty salesman. It was a little reminiscent of Chandler trying to cancel his gym membership though on Friends.

Between that and "helping" Jim, he was definitely the highlight of the episode. My DVR cut off so I missed the ending.

NBC and DirecTV need to better communicate on what time to end their shows.

 Don't blame DirecTV. That's who I use and my DVR recorded the full episode, credits included.

I thought this was a pretty good ep. There was some good stuff that happened within the salesman storyline, but at the same time, I thought that part was a bit weak as well.

Kevin was great as usual, and I liked Oscar's talk about the balance of sanity shifting with Jim and Pam gone. And weird about that painting subplot getting axed. I don't usually watch the deleted scenes, but it was nice to see some more from the supporting characters.

I have DirecTV and mine cut off the end of last week's episode. It had the whole thing last night (but that might be because I also had it set to record 30R).

I loved it.

For some reason that deleted scene feels way off and didn't really fit in with whats been happening on the show. Like Erin was trying way too hard and got back too harsh of a response.

I believe if you don't have anything scheduled to record immediately after the current show Driectv's DRVs auto pad recordings now by a minute or 2.
They can't auto pad the recording if there is something immediately after on a different channel and the other tuner is already busy with a different recording.
Mine got cut-off this week as well to record an episode of house hunters at 9:30.

I didn't really like this episode compared to Niagara. The only parts that were kind of funny was when Kevin accidentally cancelled Jim's credit cards and how they kept calling Jim and Pam on the Honeymoon.

I thought the whole thing with the "Mafia" salesman was a bit lame and the humor just didn't work for me.

I didn't think this episode was really all that great, either. The first time in quite a while I really didn't care for. And it boggles my mind why the creators of the show would choose to delete the scene with the painting and leave in all the unfunny. That single deleted scene was funnier than the entire episode.

It refers to "capicola", which is a traditional Italian cold cut:

Capicola (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capicola)

Often referred to in different dialects as something resembling "gabba gool", my wife (Italian American) was trying to be offended by it but was laughing too hard.
