Anyone watching this on Showtime?

it documents the war between the NFL vs the AFL.

A fascinating show and looks back at a time when Al Davis was actually considered a genius.

They had interviews with Tim Russert, Dan Rather, Larry King, and other notable personalities.

Yeah - I've been watching it which is how I could place the ugly Denver unis from Sunday. Very good. The pre-merger agreement stuff (first 3 eps) was really great stuff. Hadn't really seen that done before to that extent.

The last episode (Super Bowl III) had pretty much been done to death though in various documentaries..

A big thumbs up. I wish I had the complete set of 1965 AFL Topps cards. The show is too good for the NFL Network.

The NFL Network doesn't know that the NFL existed prior to 1990.

I wish the FCC would step in and tell the NFL Network-hey you can't show the same show and same highlight package 50 times a day. It would be interesting too see if these Mickey Mouse-Repeat programming Networks weren't allowed to show the same program over and over again. Hell, the NFL Network might even show NFL Films stuff from the 60s and 70s.

I love it. Really good interesting documentaries. Certainly portrays the AFL in a positive light and the NFL as the nasty old school bullies.
