Isn't R1 supposed to be handled by Universal? Because I could definitely see them doing the standard 1-disc, the 2-disc super edition and the Blu-Ray.

yes it is and according to the preorder listings on amazon canada, they are
releasing these 3 editions.

I don't think that feature refers to the ACTUAL movie as a feature.

I think it's more about the original film and how it inspired Tarantino to make Basterds.

actually i realized that i am not 100% sure about my own quote
i think i also read that universal will handle the video distribution, or was this
just for overseas markets and weinstein is releasing it in the us.
however, i am quite sure i also read somewhere that their collaboration with
genius products was terminated!?
