Yeah, I'm disappointed in the Cardinals, but congratulations.

Now go beat the Yankees in the series. :)

Way to go Dodgers

You know the Selig wants a Torre vs Yankees World Series.
Dodgers vs Yankees would be great (as long as the Dodgers win that is).

Dodgers versus Angels or Yankees would be fun. I'm still worried about a repeat of last year against the Phillies though.

(sigh) Another big market team beats a small market team. Yaay baseball!

I'm pulling for a Twins-Rockies World Series, but I know it'll be Dodgers-Yanksox and I know I won't care much who wins if it is.

Congrats Dodgers on the series victory. They outplayed the Cardinals all three games. However, so did the Reds, Brewers, Braves, Marlins and Rockies during the past few weeks so don't get too crazy.

Dodgers sucked down the stretch too, so I don't think that's any excuse or reason.

I'm not making any excuse for the Cardinals as they are paid professionals and played like little leaguers for the past month or so. What I am saying is that the Dodgers shouldn't get too confident from beating them as the opponents that are left are playing far better than the Cardinals did for the past few weeks. If they do it can be the same quick exit from the playoffs that the Cardinals just got. Last year the Dodgers blew by the Cubs to then get handled by the Phillies.

I don't think anyone, the players or the fans are that confident. But given that most Dodger fans weren't very hopeful going into the playoffs either, it was a surprise to sweep regardless of how poor the Cards played to finish the season as well.
