Well, I offered a trade last night of my Vokoun and Perry for his Franzen and Kipprusoff in my NHL money league and the trade was accepted last night around 10 pm by the other owner. Now, Franzen got hurt last night for at least 4 months. Should the trade go through or should neotiations start over again?

It depends on your league rules. For my league, assuming both owners sent me an e-mail indicated a trade was made, then I'd say it should go through since both e-mails indicate the deal was 'finalized.' That's how I do it for the FF league I commish.

As a lawyer, I'd say once there's offer and acceptance, the trade is done as far as the two parties (this is assuming your league rules don't deal with it). If there's a chance for other people to vote on the trade's fairness, well, now's your time to lobby the other people.

I was going to give the lawyer rule and say "meeting of the minds" (although that's essentially my rule) but I dumbed it down. ;)
