Sanctuary Season 2 - starts tonight on SyFylis 10pm
I enjoyed the (admittingly flawed but occasionally brilliant) first season. I'm on board for S2, am I alone?

Ahh... I set it to record based on the promos but I didn't know this was season 2. Can I jump right in or do I need to go back and start at the beginning?

A lot of stuff won't make sense if you haven't watched the first season. However, you can probably pick it up.

I'm not overly struck on the CGI or the pretty thin writing but, as per TGM's above post from the earlier thread, it has been a guilty pleasure.
They've just started showing Season 2 on a UK digital channel. Although I've watched the first couple of eps, I may well have to drop it soon once they start screening Dollshouse. What with True Blood and FlashForward having recently started airing here - and one or two UK shows - I'm finding that I'm in danger of building up a "video debt"!

Hmmmm so is the daughter not coming back? I kind of liked her. The new chick is interesting but I wouldn't think they let a person like that walking around freely.
Oddly enough I liked this weeks episodes but don't know why. I have no idea what the flash backs were about. They seem to know a lot of the baby but didn't know how fast it grows. The CGI was poorer than usual. However, I still liked it a bunch.

She's still in the opening credits, so I assume she'll be back, but whether as a member of the team or a villain, I have no idea.

I'm not sure I'm digging the ray guns. And before that they had some sort of gun that looked like it was off the set of warehouse 13. Other than that I'm liking the show. If you seen the last episode of season 1 of dollhouse this weeks episode is kind of like that.

watching an episode in HD. I don't know if it's the makeup on tapping or what but she looks a bit rough in HD. the dark eye shadow doesn't help

I thought the finale was great. I was a little nervous about the bollywood scene from the earlier comments, but it wasn't bad at all. Paul McGillion was great as a weird lizard man thing. The whole I'm taking over as head of the Sanctuary has been done before though. Yes, some of the green screen is bad, but I love this show!
The only problem I had was that the head of the India Sanctuary didn't seem to know anything about Kali, or the cult......or anything else.
The woman playing Kali looked so hot in those scenes in the water!
