I just listened to the Audible version of this book and I have a question about the ending. Don't read the spoiler if you are going to read this book.

It ended very suddendly with Wanda in mourning and Ian sitting next to her. She has just discovered the humans have butchered one of her kind and she now considers humans to be monsters.

The ending was sudden and when combined with the fact that there was a message saying you've just finished part 1 of a 2 part download (it was part 2) it left me wondering if there was more.

And yet, I found the ending honest and to my thinking, the only possible one.

That is nowhere near the ending. That is about midway to 3/4 into the book.

This is embarrasing. It turns out that instead of 2 downloads for the book (which is typical), there are 3 downloads. I wasn't playing close attention when I was downloading the first time.

But that's why I posted the message, the book just didn't quite feel complete.
