I don't like the red shirts the officials are wearing. They stand out too much.

What was the score and re-cap of the first game? I avoid ESPN like the plague-so I don't know the result.

30-17 Locomotives. The Loco's kicked a few more Men's Wherehouse field goals. I like the way they look.

What was the thinking making the uniforms all look pretty much the same? Don't they want teams to have their own identity?

I watched like 5 minutes of the game yesterday and I couldn't tell the teams apart. The light grey and the white jerseys were just too hard to differentiate.

The announcers at one point couldn't even figure it out. They were like "Wow, one guy just completely missed the tackle! Oh, it looks like that was the Tight End coming back for the block"

Wow! 14,209 fans showed up. Going up against College Football, Fall TV shows, MLB Playoffs, NHL games, soon to be NBA and college basketball, seems like a good idea!

That's DeDe Dorsey getting tackled - by some dude that looks like a teammate.

I watched about 5 minutes of the second game. I would be shocked if there were 5,000 people there. I have seen more people at the local high school game.

The problem with football leagues like this is that it is just the same as the NFL rule-wise, only the talent sucks. At least with college, you can follow your alma mater and many of those players are future stars, but most of these guys are NFL busts, etc.

I guess they do allow intentional grounding... that really spices things up.

If I were going to watch minor league football, I would watch the arena league. At least it has a different feel.

Playing in the fall is beyond dumb. The league will never make it. The old USFL wanted to go to a fall schedule and ended up folding. Trump was one of the major owners wanting a fall schedule.

I was actually going to check out Wednesday's game but Comcast made DirecTV pull Versus off their lineup.
