I missed this when it was in theaters, and I absolutely adore Zooey, so I'm in! Nice that they're also including both of the Marc Webb videos that surfaced online not long after the film's release.

Still one of my favourites of the year - definitely on the Christmas list. (and my sisters love it just as much, so I'm pretty much guaranteed to get it from one of them :) )

One of my favorite films of the year. Oddly, my wife, whose tastes are usually pretty close to mine, hated it. Oh well, it will definitely become part of my collection.

Nice little movie..but I had one BIG problem with it...

Said in Ikea:
"There's a CHINESE family staring at us in our bedroom."
Was "Chinese" said to elicit laughs? Why didn't the screenwriter state:
"There's a JEWISH family staring at us in our bedroom."
"There's a BLACK family staring at us in our bedroom."
I found it really jarring and a letdown for this movie...I'm not known for being PC but felt uneasy with the laughs at that "joke."

Greatly looking forward to owning this one.:up: Glad it's arriving in time for Christmas, as it'll certainly be a Christmas gift for one or two folks.

"There's a BLACK family staring at us in our bedroom."I don't know if the family was Jewish or not, but I'm pretty sure they weren't black.

The joke wasn't that they were Chinese, it was that they were standing RIGHT THERE looking at them... it might have not even been in the script but added once they cast a group of Asian actors. I think you're really making something out of nothing (and I'm not Jewish, but I think that would have been WAY more un-PC if it had been used).

If you are that sensitive, I prey you never go to a comedy club.

Cover art up on dvdactive. Looks like the poster art with the two at the bottom right. I like it.
Saw this at the drive-in. Pure, bittersweet goodness.

It's surprising that you're not as sensitive, especially given that it wasn't subtle in the least. It's jarring when an otherwise likable movie randomly uses ethnicity for a cheap laugh.
