Monsters Vs Aliens

My disc can't play on pioneer 51FD, can play on PS3 but stop at 5:25. Anybody has this prolbem?

I have this movie, kids watched it last night and again tonight on the PS3, no problems what-so-ever. Blu version of course.

Sounds like it might be the disc. Make sure it is clean. A small fingertip smudge at the edge of the disc, easily missed, can do this to me on my Panasonic 10AK.

Also, you didn't mention... do you have latest firmware (v1.25a) in that Pioneer? Is your PS3 Version 3.01?

It played fine on my PS3 which has yet to be updated to 3.01.

Good review, and I agree with its bottom line--great audio and video, so-so movie which could have and should have been better. Nonetheless, my 4.5 year old son didn't stop asking when we'd have it, so I bought the BD/DVD combo at Target. It's been viewed daily since I brought it home.

MvA played fine in my fully updated latest 80g PS3.

Movie wise IMO this is a watch & forget. I was expecting a lot more.
