Well at least District 9 arrives on DVD before January. When it comes to The Final Destination some websites are claiming its release date is the rumored Dec. 22nd date while others are saying its Jan. 5th. Also, any rumored dates for Halloween 2?

A Perfect Getaway is arriving in December. Videoeta has the date but it's one of those "We have been provided the date but are forbidden..." As for Gamer I'm gonna make a guess and say January 5th. Looking at Lionsgate history they seem to release a movie every year on the first weekend of September and then release it on DVD early January (Crank, 3:10 To Yuma, Bangkok Dangerous).

as for perfect getaway i read that on videoeta as well and its just so annoying when they don`t disclose information. like ohh we could tell you, but then we would have to kill you
like they are dealing with sensitive military information rather than a bunch of movie dates
they have this "we have been provided the date" for many titles and irony is that at the end of the day they wait so long with the infos that they are far behind by all other sites like dvdactive and dvdtimes! like with terminator; they will only disclose that date by the end of october, while other sites have made it official weeks ago
i am just surprised that they are still listing hurt locker for november!
if summit still plans it in november, then time for the preorder window seems
to run out a bit!

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release Calendar & Discussion Thread
I'm just waiting for the release for The Final Destination. I found a bunch of articles that say the release date is January 5th but they're a few weeks old so we'll see. As for Halloween II, I was hoping the Weinstein Co. would release it the week after they release Inglourious Basterds (which amazon.ca says is December 15th) like they did in theatres but I doubt it now.

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release Calendar & Discussion Thread
many sites are still listing the final destination for december 22nd.
i am curious if they will still keep that date, hopefully some official
news will be released soon.
even more i would hope for a 2disc set with 2d and 3d versions, although
with warner`s current release policies i would fear that 3d would be bluray
exclusive while the dvd release will be just the barebones movie.
