One the local stores had a couple in stock (they weren't in stock recently or since the first edition dvds went out of print early this decade.
And they priced like James Bond dvds were early this decade - upper $20s (even at Best Buy)
How weird is that?

There's supposed to be a single disc release of the remaster out. It was quietly released months after the last batch of the new single discs were done.

I too have seen the older pressing of the movie at Best Buy. They wanted $26.99 for IIRC.

Yes there is a release of the new one (which Best Buy does not stock in stores that I am aware of) but the one I saw was the first dvd edition and none of the films of the first release have been in print for years...

It's also possible someone returned copies that were dumped at Big Lots. I saw the entire first release (up through Tomorrow Never Dies) there for $3 a piece.
