I love this service, and quality has greatly improved, at least for me (and I have 1.5 mbps (recommended 3.0 mbps) and have had that all the time, and my bars are always 6 out of 8).

What are some shows that you can watch through multiple seasosn through the service?

I'll start it off:


Emergency, Xena, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Red Dwarf have too many eps missing. Only looking for completely-streamable seasons.

It's also great if you skip a season. I watched Grey's Anatomy on DVD/TV for Seasons 1-4 and now I'm Tivoing S6 while I watch S5 through NVOD. No waiting for discs to get here, no shipping them back, go as fast or as slow as you want.

It certainly allows you to zip through shows when you want to go at your own pace. I would have died having to wait for the next four episodes of a show I'm really into.

The entire Jericho series is also on there and is (mostly) in HD. Also the entire series of Coupling is there too along with Jeckyll.

What is annoying about the service is when there are single episodes missing like with Sliders. You get into it and realize you still need to have a disc delivered here and there because certain episodes are "DVD only". THAT is lame.

Only half of Brotherhood S2 is available - you have to get the dvd's if you want to finish it. At least that was the case a week or two ago.

I have been going through the Charles In Charge episodes pretty quickly. All 5 seasons are available. A few episodes in season one aren't available. Since seasons 4 and 5 can't even be rented it's nice to have them streaming.

How can you tell if something's in HD or not?

On the 360, there's a little HD symbol at the end of the listing (after runtime and rating).

On the Netflix site, click the Watch Instantly tab at the top. Then on the Genres drop-list select "HD".
