I noticed this morning that the standard DVD 2-pack bundle (with the B.O.B. 3D short bonus disc) has both the regular and 3D versions of the movie on the first disc. At least that's what it says on the back. Does the Blu-Ray have both regular and 3D options? It doesn't say on the package.

To my understanding, the movie itself isn't in 3D on either standard or Blu.

The only thing in 3D on any versions of this release is B.O.B.'s Big Break.

Expect to see a re-release of this one (and oh so many others) in the next year or two when the home theater 3D craze reaches full swing. Fry's already has a demo of the upcoming Area 51 on one of the new 82" Mitsubishi's that has 3D.

No. Paramount wants to re-release this when 3D hits so you have to re-buy the film again.

I have a bad feeling we are going to be re-buying updated versions of ALL movies when 3D happens. The Coraline Blu-Ray had both regular and 3D versions. I'm surprised they didn't do that with this one.

So the 3D version will be a triple dip? What will the first re-release include?
