the forgotten (Christian Slater) -- New Series -- Tuesday's on ABC
Synopsis for Diamond Jane:
Spoiler:
Thought last week's debut episode was actually pretty decent for a new procedural. I think this is a better role for Slater than that ridiculous Henry/Harry crap from NBC. It's interesting to see that Jerry Bruckheimer is constantly keeping his boy Danny Cannon busy directing and producing his shows. I noticed that Cannon directed the Pilot and he also produced and directed several episodes of Dark Blue. Anyways, Generic season it is if any of you want to chime away.

It was decent. Some of the dialogue was cringe worthy. Just awful, but otherwise, it was not terrible, especially for a pilot.

Synopsis for Football John:
Okay, I've had a chance to see the 1st 2 episodes and for the most part, this is a pretty decent procedural.
Like:
Christian Slater
the supporting cast (especially Michelle Borth and Heather Stephens)
the premise
Bob Stephenson from Jericho IMO adds a little quirkiness although sometimes out of place.
Don't Like:
the narration from the dead character
the ghostly flashbacks and the Cold Case type ending

Has anyone here been following the forgotten?
I've actually been really enjoying it alot.
I'm not holding my breath that this will get picked up for a back 9 episode order let alone finish it's 13 episodes. But, whatever they do decide to air I will watch.
The newest episode that aired last night regarding the murdered Asian girl was pretty entertaining. I had one issue with it though. They pronounced the victim's name as "Li Nguyen (Win)" and her brother as Quan Nguyen, which are Vietnamese names, yet the characters were from Taiwan.
Overall, I really like Slater in this role and I dig his 3 female co-stars who are pictured above. Love Heather Stephens (the hot red head)

I'm enjoying it too. It fills the void that was left when CBS canceled WAT nicely.

Re: the forgotten (Christian Slater) -- New Series -- Tuesday's on ABC
My wife and I enjoy the show, however, I have a problem that seems to get bigger every week: The forgotten team is much more competant than the police.
In the first few episodes this was explained by expanding the search radius, or a similar explanation. This week, the female detective walks out of the interview room and announces "Well, she did it. I just don't know how to prove it". One of the female forgotten quickly points out that the necklace found with the body belongs to the suspect, as seen in the suspect's passport photo. That was pretty weak.

My husband and I are enjoying it also, it's not Emmy award winning television, but it entertains us.

It's enjoyable enough but I don't think there is really enough here to make it last very long.

The show is on Hulu.com and the plots are self contained if you ever want to check it out. Maybe you have a time conflict? Double check the reasons why the DVR didn't record. It should tell you.

No time conflict and no reasons. Its just not there. I've even canceled and re-setup the season recording.
