Nice to see IB hanging in there... I have no interest in anything else other than Pandorum, even though it looks kinda bad. I'm a sucker for most sci-fi/horror flicks.

something isn't correct with Cloudy's overall total.

something isn't correct with Cloudy's overall total. It should probably be $35 mil + $21 mil = $56 mil through the weekend.

The irony, it if wasn't for capitalism Michael Moore wouldn't have a job.

also kind of amazing they spent $100m on it.

Indeed. It looks like some direct-to-dvd POS.

I mean it more along the lines of they spent $100m on a lesser known, very short childrens novel. It didn't spawn the merchandising of better known childrens books, like Where The Wild Things Are.

The movie itself is apparently quite good and I like the animation style.

Is that one of the best drops ever for a #1 film that didn't expand?

It was actually very good.

Indeed. It looks like some direct-to-dvd POS.

I'm waiting for the R-rated 143-minute directors cut, "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs AND BLOOD."
