That video is impossible because we are told over and over that Glenn Beck is adored by all conservatives.

Scarborough's classic conservative credentials are pretty solid. I suppose it is not unreasonable to look for ulterior motives here, but when you see stuff like this:
GOP Congressman Targeted By 'RINO' Hunters (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=113096597)
going on, it does start to look like common sense that the current lack of restraint and heavy fringe influences in the conservative movement, or revanchist conservatism to use a Sam Tanenhaus-ism, are self-destructive.

It'd be easier to accept Scarborough's point if he didn't have that Neo-Nazi asshat Pat Buchanan on his show.

That's ridiculous. -rolleyes-
"Neo"? Pat likes the traditional Nazis just fine!

If Beck doesn't change, the Republicans could lose enough seats to where they couldn't block any legislation. Oh wait, they are already there. Yeah, Republicans should go back pre Beck days.

I don't see the problem with trying to replace members of your party that you don't think are doing a good enough job (or aren't as conservative as you want).

He's a regular on Morning Joe. If Scarborough was truly concerned with news organizations giving soap boxes to asshats, he could start fixing things by refusing to let Buchanan on. Instead he goes after a highly rated show on a rival network.
Conclusion: He's a hypocritical Republican who doesn't deserve to be taken seriously.
Do you disagree?

I disagree. It's not Buchanan that's 'hurting' MSNBC.
Get rid of him, and they'll probably even have less fewers.

Also, Ed Schultz is kind of an idiot. I've listened to his show all this week. He's nothing new, just the personification of years of left-wing idiocy.
(To be fair, I call Glenn Beck the personification of years of right-wing idiocy.) Not sure why anyone would take either man seriously, except that Beck is slightly more engaging.

Beck, at least to me, seems not to be totally believing some of the things he says. He seems to be more of an actor - a show.
Disclaimer: I've only seen him a couple of times.

There is no doubt he believes what he's saying but he uses hyperbole and ludicrousness to get his points across. His live shows are advertised as political stand up comedy and the boiling frog incident is just an example of what he does on the air.
I loved how it was edited by Huffington Post to make it look like he killed a real frog:
