Solid start. Nice to see Curb in HD finally. I like the angle where the Seinfeld cast will eventually make their appearance. Good set up there. Also nice to have a continuation from last year instead of simply skipping ahead.

I avoided that Curb/Seinfeld special like the plague. Hope they rerun it again when the cast appears.

Not sure about Loretta, but I do think that Leon will still be around.

Loved this episode! The expressions Larry did throughout were really top-notch; I did think it was weird that Larry would have a crisis of conscience about sending BamBam to the crazy house so she could be kept quiet.

I'm glad for the people who enjoyed the new episode, but I didn't like a minute of it. I'll be watching for the upcoming Seinfeld stuff, but I think the days of CURB being really funny have sailed.

Hope to change my opinion next week.

I agree this was a solid episode and sets the stage for the rest of the season. It was one of the least funniest episodes in a while but the story continuation from last season and the new plot twists made it just as entertaining. Larry fainting was freakin' funny though.

Oh, Leon's line about keeping his room at 82 was great.

My guess is that LD will make the Seinfeld reunion show just for a way to not help Loretta.

I thought it was hilarious... it started a little slower, but once they got to the dinner party, it was CLASSIC CURB. Loved it.... Larry racing home to beat the bad news was classic and his fainting was one of the funniest moments easily. So glad to have this show back and I think the setup that Larry will do the Seinfeld Reunion to try and mend fences with Cheryl is perfect. Great start.

It was explicitly stated in this episode. Cheryl liked Larry better when he was working on Seinfeld because she didn't have to deal with him all day long.

I'm in the same boat. I cancelled HBO when they killed Deadwood and CYE was a casualty. I can't even remember what the last episode I saw was. I need to catch up because I'm really interested in this season.
