Worst movie in your collection?
Not sure if i put this in the right place, but does anyone want to share a movie they might not be so proud of? I have a friend that had a movie he actually left out of his collection. He said it would only go in if he needed it to beat how many dvd's I have. He eventually put it in though. For me...off the top of my head Extreme Movie is my most recent terrible purchase.

some would say Halloween (2007), others might say the Michael Bay films,
but the only one I don't like is Closer. I recently went through and sold off my titles I didn't like, around 40 titles, to slim the collection. Couldn't get rid of Closer.

I do have a couple stinkers (mostly stupid romantic comedies and B-horror films I purchased at blockbuster because it was cheaper than renting), but probably "The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe" is the one I think is the worst.

I can't say I really have anything in my collection I'm ashamed of (since I tend to get rid of anything I don't like). As of right now, out of the ones I've seen, the one I probably like the least is probably Rob Zombie's Halloween, but even then, there are enough qualities to that movie that make it watchable enough for me to keep.

Ong Bak and The Protector...I mean..they are super shitty. Jesus...well Ong Bak got thrown away after my cat thought it was nice to scratch it. I was all amused and enjoyed by him playing with a disc till I noticed it was DVD...but..in reality..I was kinda happy he killed cuz I can't willingly throw away DVDs.

Not sure what THE worst is, but Silent Night Deadly Night 2 is right up there (possibly the worst excuse for a movie ever- more than half of it is flashbacks from the first movie, which is on the same disc.) Return Of The Boogeyman (one of the first DVDs from the defunct Simitar label, the first budget DVD company) is along the same lines, but since it was posted on video I don't even count that as a movie.
Almost forgot about Drive-In Massacre on laserdisc- that's pretty bad too. The title is a lot more exciting than the movie.

Crossroads with Britney Spears (although she is kinda hot in it and it's Pre-K-Fed) But, the movie sucked.

Wow. some of you hate some decent films. LOL!
Cant say for sure what is the worst. But it would probably fall to a number of sequels/prequels I only own because I'm a completest.

I have quite a few critically maligned movies, but I own them because I genuinely enjoy them and/or think they're actually good. Such as:
Alien vs. Predator
Fantastic Four
Jeepers Creepers 2
Hannibal
Freddy vs. Jason
Tomb Raider
Tomb Raider 2
Armageddon
End of Days
Hancock
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
But the only one that I can't quite defend is Battlefield Earth.

Shinobi, Vol. 1 - The Law of Shinobi
I would trade it in or something but it's not worth shit, in fact I think you have to pay the store to take it. Then again it might be worth it to just get rid of this shit show.

Re: Worst movie in your collection?
I'm the type of person that can find redeeming factors in movies I don't like... but I'd have to say my worst are probably either:
Monsturd
or Freddy Got Fingered, which was worth $5 for Tom Green's commentary alone.

People always forget what 'worst' means. Just because a movie is the worst doesn't inherently mean it's bad, just that it's the least good. If you had a list of the 10 best movies, the 10th movie on that list would then be the 'worst' on that list.

Zardoz is a much-misunderstood film. Boorman's commentary really helped me understand what he was trying to achieve. I own and enjoy it, but it definitely has not aged well.
I like every movie I own, or I obviously wouldn't own it. Why keep a movie you don't like?
However, viewed objectively, I'd have to say The Apple, Can't Stop The Music, and Showgirls are probably the worst films I own. They're all great campy fun in the "So bad it's good" category, and I love to watch them, but when they are evaluated critically, each film fails monumentally in every possible department.

The last DVD I have in my collection w/ a "1" rating is "Last Hero in China" and that's on the chopping block for the next round of donations.

Of the 41 movies I've watched so far from the "50 Drive-In Classics" box - Mama Dracula was the worst.
I would give it a second chance if I came across a remastered widescreen free version of it.

I am not really ashamed of anything in my collection. I genuinely like everything in my collection. Of course this includes the entire American Pie collection, Scary movie collection, and a good portion of the other "Movie" collection (Epic, Superhero, etc). While I do think some of those are terrible movies, I enjoy them for what they are. Mindlessly enteraining. But, no, I am not ashamed of anything in my collection.

Out Cold is only one that I can think of but Im sure I have a few others. Its amazing how tastes change as you get older I think I got this when I was 13 and thought it was so cool.
