Apparently with no extra materials, Burned-in English subtitles.
First Sin Nombre, then this, Focus is started to burn-in subs for their non-English films. Actually, looking back, Motorcycle Diaries was too....

Let's hope for better import options if that's the case. The UK has Palisades Tartan listed as their distributor. I was kinda hoping for Blu Ray.

Definitely interested in getting this.
Saw the film a couple of months ago in San Francisco and loved it.

Ya, no extras on here. It's disheartening, especially knowing that Park is like the David Fincher of Korea in the DVD extras department.

No Blu-ray is ridiculous. Oh well, it's Park Chan-wook, so I'll buy it. New or Used, depends on how I feel the day it's released.

Very true. The 3 Disc Oldboy is like an orgy of filmmaking right there. LOVED how they made that corridor fight scene also.. Choi Min-sik had a fucked up elbow cuz of that fighting..it's monstrous huge bulge coming out of his elbow...I dunno what that is..but it's not supposed to be there.

I was the only person here that posted this as my favorite film of the summer, but I am F'n pissed that there is no Blu-Ray release. I'll wait for a hopeful US Blu-release.

I was lucky enough to catch this in the theater, but also unfortunate since it was projected out of focus - I was hoping for a blu-ray to make up for that.
Hopefully there will be a good Korean disc, blu or otherwise. I'm surprised there not one out yet.

By this logic, if DVD was doing as well as...well, as well as it obviously is, every movie ever made would be available on DVD too.

Where the hell is the Blu-ray release of this? I guess I'll just netflix it then and wait for a Blu-ray... which had better come out at some point.
I wanted to see this in theaters but it never played where I live.

probably the best example this year of a company shooting themselves in the foot. they manage to get a nice early USa cinema release, they manage to get the subsequent DVD (at least) announced before it's domestic edition(s), and then they issue a press release that suggest forced subs and potentially forget that korea (or someone) will likely put out a BD. odd.

Also they kind of fucked up the theatrical release. With the vampire craze in full force, and Park Chan-wook as a cult film maker with Oldboy, you would think Universal/Focus would play the movie in more then 20 theaters at its peak.
